December Dreams

December is here, but not the freeze
Cloaking the day in early gloom,
Enticing the fragile winter bloom,
Begging us pity the naked trees.
I ambled beclouded in a fume
And dreamed (in a dream that could not be)
You left your right hand, believed in me,
And rested your head. I will assume,
Experiencing what I feel
And knowing that other dreams will come,
They're only projections coming from
My shadow. But if they are not real,
Someone explain how this was done:
I've fallen in love with everyone.

It was only a dream. Sadly, or not, it could not be true in the waking world.

Sometimes I wish I could live in my dreams. Don't you? But that is not an option.

Dreams bear truth about ourselves. Therefore, we must live according to our dreams. They must be read, interpreted, understood, and obeyed. It is perilous to ignore them.

But I wonder still further: When we dream about others, do we also learn something true about them?

Can you translate?

I was going to ask ggbbgg130 the same thing.

It would seem you have global reach.

Either that, or the spammers have finally arrived at Blogger.

You must have a blog that has many readers for a spammer to target it.

Comments being the only proof I have of followers, at the moment I can verify only one constant reader. (I encourage you to tell your friends to come by here.) The rest, if there is an audience, are lurkers.

I suspect that, you being you, there are many lurkers. Though I would refer to them more as fans / interested persons. Keep in mind, I too am a lurker of sorts. The only difference is that I speak, though anonymously.

You are not a lurker, Anonymous. You are an interesting enigma.

You seem confident that other people read the blog. I would be pleased if there was a following -- the blog is here for my friends to find. But it would be all right if there was no one else to read it but you.

I write these things for myself, and I write them to God. And I write them thinking about others, writing prayerfully about them. It is possible that some of my friends have unknowingly come across a song or poem that was written with them specifically in mind. I hope they are moved.

I am confident other people read the blog because there have been occasional anonymous postings that were not my own. You have an interested following.

May they read on. I will write on.
